We are so glad you found us! Eastminster is a place where all are not only welcomed but embraced! We believe that all people are loved by God and have the image of God within them and invite all people to use their gifts, talents, and experiences for the sake of Christ’s mission in the world.
We invite you to join us for worship each Sunday at 10:00 am! Following worship, you are invited to an extra cup of coffee, conversation, and our Nurturing Faith (education) hour which begins at 11:15am. This is suspended for the summer months with various intergenerational and fellowship opportunities. We also have additional education and fellowship groups that meet throughout the week. When you Arrive
When you arrive, you will be greeted by an Eastminster member who will welcome you and invite you to fill out a name tag. Please look for the Visitor cart off to the left to receive a goodie bag with information about our church. We hope you will fill out the visitor book at the visitor cart or place a visitor card (found in the connection pads on each row) in the offering plate. This is a way we can thank you for joining us and connect with you later if you are interested.
Our Sanctuary
When you enter the sanctuary, you will quickly discover that we started our first building as a Family Life Center. This means that our sanctuary is a multipurpose space. This allows us to transform the sanctuary at various times to allow for mission and outreach. Throughout the year our space is turned into a variety of things from a meal packing center, a kids sports camp, and a Bistro (restaurant to raise money for our youth ministry).
All children are invited and encouraged to attend worship each week with their families. We have worship bags with activities for children that can be taken to their seats to help them participate in worship (found in the back hanging on a wooden stand). The children are invited to join Mrs. Joan for a time with children during the worship service and then can return to their seats for the remainder of service. We think it is important that children are welcomed in worship and that they learn the rituals of worship by worshiping with their families. Twice a month following worship during the school year, we offer opportunities for them to learn the stories of faith in fun and engaging ways.

How long are your services? How often do you have communion?
Our services typically last an hour. Communion is served every first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to the Table.
What should I wear?
We do not have a dress code but many of our members come in casual attire. We encourage you to wear what you are most comfortable in!
Do you have a nursery?
Yes! The nursery is available each Sunday morning for children infant to preschool age. We have two volunteers each week. Please ask an usher if you need assistance. The nursery is located through the door to the left of the sanctuary (past the coffee area) and down the hall from the Commons area (the main entrance).
Do you have a policy for protecting children’s safety?
Yes, we have a Safe Place policy in place to protect children and vulnerable peoples. This is why we always have two people helping with the nursery and children’s classes.
Is your building handicap accessible?
Yes! Our building is handicap accessible. In addition, we have chairs instead of pews in the sanctuary which are easily movable. We are happy to move a chair to accommodate a wheelchair, or get you a different chair if you need arms or something better for your back. Just ask an usher to help!

The fastest way to get current information about the church’s ministries, outreach, and life is to subscribe to our “Weekly News” which is published each Friday.

Where are you located?
We are located at 2240 Woodruff Road in Simpsonville, SC. This is just down the road from the Woodruff Road and Highway 14 intersection as you head away from Greenville. Drive up the long driveway and we are the building to the right!
